should media companies in charge of regulating their own content, or should the government have a bigger role in this and why?
The government should have a bigger role in this because they need to protect their citizens from a content that may introduced their citizens onto something negative. for example like in the case of friends 1994-2004, there is like some sensitive content such as the LGBTQ and some swearing words that the Chinese government censored the content and changed the subtitles.
How does the government regulation affect what we see and hear in the media? can too much regulation stifle creativity and free speech, or is it necessary for protecting the public?
if the government puts too much regulation, it could affect some media that wants to innovate. because if they wanna start on this project, there will be some regulation that they have to follow which can limit the media's ideas and creativity.
