Media Language

The genre convection of a food magazine is to input an eye catching food on the cover.  This magazine full filled that convection. The lightning on the magazine cover is nice, it gives a warm colour which suits and enhance the colour of the sandwich.

Representation

The magazine chooses a classic cheese sandwich along with a beef patty. They represent the sandwich that it will be having various texture in the audiences mouth. Crunch comes from the perfectly toasted  sourdough, melty and savoury comes from the classic american cheese with are known goes well with any sandwiches and last but not least a juicy piece of beef patty along with a caramelised onion stuffed on top and by the time you bite it you will having the next level of sandwich.   

Audience

The target audience for a food magazine generally, it is geared towards peoples who have an interest in food, cooking, and nutrition. For example home cooks, professional chefs, food blogger/vlogger, and people that is interested in healthy eating. Some food magazines may also target specific demographics such as families, vegetarians, or people following that is having restrictions on their food. Additionally, Food magazines can target to anyone who want to learn new recipes, new cooking techniques, or just want to be inspired by new ideas.

Cooking magazines or food magazine is under the category of lifestyle or food and beverage magazines, and usually sold on newsstands or by subscription. They may also be available in digital format. They provide information about cooking techniques, recipes, and food-related trends, as well as food and product reviews. these are some examples of popular cooking magazines which includes Bon Appétit, Cooking Light, and Food & Wine.
